The Institute for Learning in Retirement maintains partnerships with several organizations whose goals and missions are similar to ours. These organizations may offer programs or special privileges to our members.

HCAP (History Center Affiliates Program)

The HCAP card gives free admission for four adults to its four museums:


  • Heinz History Center
  • Fort Pitt Museum
  • Meadowcroft Rock Shelter
  • Western PA Sports Museum

 The SRU Alumni Association sponsors speakers and programs as well as performance arts events to which ILR members are invited. 






Event Details: April 10, 2024 - 3:00 pm - Slippery Rock

ILR has offered many classes taught by State Park naturalists. The Parks have offered programs and personalized outings for members at their sites. Some of those parks are:
