Classes are activities held at the Fowler Building (headquarters) or online.
They can be lectures, group discussions, applied art, handicrafts, games, demonstrations, training.
Classes can have one, two or multiple sessions. Each session can last between 60 and 180 minutes.
Admission to classes is on first-come - first-served basis
Trips are activities held at other locations than the Fowler Building.
They can be lectures, visits to museums, exhibitions, memorial houses, historical venues, or hikes, bikes, boat tours, lunch out.
The trips are usually regional, within 60-minute drive from Slippery Rock. The activity per se lasts in general 2 to 4 hours but day trips are common. Occasionally, bus trips with overnight stay are offered.
